Edwards Screw Bell Conversion & Who To Send It To

Hello TromboneChat hivemind,

I'm planning to have my T350 converted to a screw bell setup, mainly for the sake of peace of mind whilst traveling.

Are there any forum members who've had their Edwards converted? If so, who did your work?

Lastly, for those of you who have had it done, what cases work best? I've heard a few horror stories of converting, only to find that their horn couldn't fit in the case...

Thanks as always!

Check with Justin Cooper at the University of North Texas, also BAC Horns, Gary Dafler and a few others that I can't remember names...

Trombullion, where are you located? Your language indicates England, Australia, or New Zealand. All the suggestions are in the US.

Oops, I'll see if I can't figure out a way to change that. Thanks, Bruce. I'm located in the Southeast US.

The owner I bought my horn from had the bell cut by Dan Oberloh. The horn was in an airline accident, so the previous owner had it repaired and cut by Dan Oberloh, I think he’s in Seattle.
