Registration is open for the 14th Annual Eastman Summer Trombone Institute! This year's ESTI will run from July 28th-August 3rd. We are thrilled to welcome back Alex Iles and guest faculty along with Mark Kellogg, Jim Martin, Brendan Lanighan, and myself.
The Eastman Summer Trombone Institute is an intensive, informative and supportive environment for trombonists who wish to challenge themselves while growing their musical skills and becoming familiar with the many facets of performing and teaching. The expertise of the faculty allows us to cover important topics during the week such as audition preparation, jazz improvisation, recording for movie and television soundtracks, orchestral playing and doubling. The institute is designed for high school, college and graduate level players. Each participant will have the opportunity to play in master classes and trombone choir and have a one-hour lesson with a faculty member during the course of the week. Every student will also work on designated solo repertoire with piano accompaniment.
Tuition cost is $705, with optional accommodations available through the Eastman dorms.

Thanks!
