Concerto premiere @ NYC’s Lincoln Center

On Saturday, January 26th, I'll have the great good fortune of performing the U.S. premiere of a trombone concerto written by Marius Constant in 1977, with the stellar Riverside Symphony at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center.
For those not familiar with his music, he's a tragically underperformed composer who studied with Nadia Boulanger, Arthur Honegger, and Olivier Messiaen.
And if you've never heard his symphonic music, you've definitely heard his theme for the Twilight Zone!
The piece is titled "Gli Elementi" and is in four movements named for the classical elements: Aqua, Terra, Aria, Fuoco.
It's a dense, wild, heavy, and playful piece!!!
If anyone's interested in going, there's a Groupon with discounted tickets for $15-35.

Here's a little more info on the program:

Would love to see some of trombone community there!
Happy New Year to everyone!
