I was checking local trombone listings, and found a deal in Caldwell, Ohio on I-77 south of Cambridge. King 3B-F, seller has it listed for $50 obo. I was told the slide is good, needs new string for the rotor, and the horn has some dents. If it weren't so far from Cleveland, and if I didn't already have one, I would be all over it. Somebody on the forum should jump on this deal.

Well Tom, I really don't need another 3B-F; the one I own is just fine. But I don't play it much since I fell in love with my recently-acquired 1970 Conn 79H - that I play as often as I can (depending on ensemble and repertoire). I don't miss my now-sold Bach 36B at all.

Besides, I'm still suffering from the cold I picked up at the end of my last road trip 4 days ago. Found it hard to generate enough air to fill my bass trombone at the big band gig Saturday night! Another airplane flight is the last thing I need right now.

I messaged him on Facebook, he's not willing to ship it. If someone in the area wanted to buy it from him for me I'd pay them to ship it.

If my memory serves me well, the "Thelma & Louis" road trip didn't end up well?

Just got notified it was sold. Somebody got a deal. And I had just convinced my wife it would be nice to take a road trip together!
