Only noticed this last night at band practice, however whatever is up in the tubes of the slide that stop the slide from going up too far seem to be compressed, or breaking down.
My rotating Slide lock now bypasses the stopper on the slide altogether.
Does any one have any links to replacements?
This is for a Shires Custom Bass Trombone with a standard B62 slide.

No one has come across this issue with a Shires before?

It's a standard part..a small ring of felt. Any tech should have it. They compress after awhile.
