Isn't that pretty much just a placeholder for a custom fit shires? I don't think you're going to get many usable responses, and in the end, most people who aren't buying an artist model are usually getting some custom options. You would need someone who ordered the exact configuration listed on the website for it to have any meaning.

I have one. It’s great.
Custom series just means it’s not Q series, I think. So all artist models are also in the custom series, for example.

Ahh, so more like the "Custom" series from Getzen? It does look more like they are going more towards a production minded strategy, with a lot more focus on artist models, and less on getting a horn custom fitted. It does seem to somewhat parallel what Edwards/Getzen has been doing, as both companies now boast "modern" versions of the Bach 42 and Conn 88H.
