I just recently got a Shires Q36 Bass trombone, and I was wondering what some of the good grips are, so I have more options.

Calder grip is a great choice.

Bullet Brace -- but choice of grip is a very personal choice and depends at least on your hand size and your horn balance/size/configuration. I've tried several approaches, but always come back to the Bullet Brace. It just works best FOR ME. Make sure you've got the balance of the horn right (counterweight if needed), or a further search for a brace may not be so rewarding, though the correct balance may depend to some degree on what brace you go with. It can be tricky.

I love my get a grip but it’s shredded from daily use. I hear the calderpips grip is higher quality and won’t fall apart on you. I’m too cheap to find out
