Hey, I'm a euphonium player looking for a new trombone to start learning. I really like how silver plated bell trombones look like (or full silver). Do you know any of these with a good price-quality relation? Of course I won't spend 8 grand in a Sierman STB-978S or a Conn 88HSGX  but my limit is about 2000$

I'm not sure if this post belongs here or in the Classifieds. If all you want is information, that belongs here. If you really want to buy something, then you need the Classifieds.

That said, silver plate is an option on most trombone brands. It appears to be popular in Military bands and in school bands in the US South. Used silver plated horns come up on Ebay frequently.

For a first horn, a straight tenor might be best. The Yamaha 354 is available in silver plate and is a great instrument for the money. Typical cost can be US$400-800.

If you are dead set on an F-attachment instrument, you should be able to find a used one in good condition well within your budget. A few years ago I managed to get a King 4B-F and a 5B for around US$700 each. Silver plated Bach or Conn models would be a little more.

I have a student that just bought a silver plated 88H for $1600 and it’s a great instrument.

Yes, I just want info because I'm sorting all the options I have.
I'm from Spain and these silver plated trombones are a little hard to see. And it's almost impossible to find a good one for less than 2k, even second hand ones.
