Memphis the Musical

I thought I'd just shout out that I just finished a run of Memphis The Musical with the Birmingham Village Players (Michigan) on trombone.
The book is a blast to play, but the show does require a VERY strong trumpeter. Fortunately we had that in Paul Roache, local theater/symphonic trumpet mainstay.
And the show really required the cast to sing their collective souls out, and this cast was phenomenal.

Standard gripes about how hard it is for local theaters to really get the cash flow that they need.
