Hi, Bass Trombone Folks,
Just want to find a new home for my 1965 Bach Corp 50B2. It came to me as a 50B single Bass 4 years ago from a Prof. musician in US Military Band, we both believed some parts of this horn may came from Mt Vernon factory, like the under thumb F trigger and hand slide ferrels connecting to crook as the SN says 82xx, it was produced just at beginning of year 1965 after moving to Elkhart IN.
As you see, I added a Corp. 50B2 dependent warps with split triggers later on, maintaining the original yellow brass bell, turning slide, neck pipe and hand slide. All the lacquer went off for decades, the patina looks beautifully.
The horn plays very well, dark and solid sound of vintage Bach, you will find the hand slide moves really good (I would say 9.5/10), even smoother than many new ones. It will come with the 70s Bach wooden case(if you needed).
The horn is sleeping in my home (Beijing,China), so international shipping might be the issue we need to talk next. Asking for $3100 + shipping cost ($200 roughly?) through PayPal. If you are interested, please leave message here for more info, or you can contact me by [email protected].
Thank you all!
PENG
