I just "design" it in TinkerCAD. Easy, fun and I've gotten relatively precise with it (0.1mm). I've designed up a lot of RC car stuff. TinkerCAD allows you to stick blocks together, much like PowerPoint, just 3D. We had purchased my middle kid a 3D printer for the Christmas of 2019... He's used it about 3 times, I've printed hundreds of items... lol. Best present I never got... lol
