Has anybody tried these things by Stomvi?
https://stomvi.com/en/products/compleme ... r-trombone
Dillons has them listed but only has the picture of the device, not how it’s mounted on the F attachment tubing so I was scratching my head trying to figure out where they go. Now that I see the stomvi marketing material… actually, I’m still not quite sure what they do

From the picture, it looks as if it will only fit on a specific style of f-tubing wrap, eliminating using it on anything vintage.
Something in the description got lost in the translation, me thinks.

Possibly, got something about mini horns inside them and amplifying the 6th partial? I’m curious because I always am but not almost $500 curious

That's what happens when you use a MaxiClapper, three or more lefreQues, and two Pocket Rockets simultaneously. The acoustic synergy generates a sonic singularity and the next thing you know, you're on the wrong side of the event horizon.
I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to control where the singularity point develops; maybe drop it somewhere in the flute section?

With a little luck it would take the entire woodwind section out.

These guys. It's an expensive paper weight. Looks
cool. Not 500 bucks cool though. These le freque pieces of metal go up to a thousand or more. You can buy the metal and get good tech to make you one for a 3rd of the cost. Ahhhhhh the Zeitgeist is real in these things.

How about a recording / video demonstrating the effect of these (looks like little bicycle bells)?
If they're so good, it must be audible. And very valuable!

Best I can tell, these are a disposable income detector and signal generator.
Cheers,

I tried using them with my TweeQers and Acousti-Coil. Had to stop immediately. The enhanced unsympathetic vibrations made my sound aaAAAhhhhh OHH NNNOOOO not againnnnnn.

Anyone remember the acoustic piece of wood that they claimed would enhance the tone of any instrument even if you just put it in your pocket?

I thought so. Doing a Google search for that term seems ill advised, but I wish I had a link to the site that used to sell it.

A suggestion: I strongly recommend replacing
Google with
DuckDuckGo. Awful name, I know - but since I've changed to
DuckDuckGo for my searches, I'm no longer followed and harassed by all the advertisements that
Google previously dumped on me. It's like browsing freedom for free. I was reminded of this recently when I did a search on my Android phone using the
Google default search engine. In the five days since then, I've been inundated with ads clearly triggered by that one search expedition.
