Modded Bach 42

Post by hornbuilder »

Here is a recent completed project

Corp. Era Bach 42, which I installed an M&W rotor. Rebuilt the entire bell to remove all anomalies such as angled cuts, and "pre-installed tension". Gave it a satin brush finish on the outside of the bell, with bright mirror on the inside of the bell and tuning slides. Plays great!!

So I assume the main tuning slide and valve won't lock up solid every December like my 1975 42B did? :good:
Pair this beauty with new lightweight slide and you really got something!
