Title says it all… does a PM in my “outbox” mean it hasn’t actually been sent?

Your PM stays in the Outbox until it is picked up by the recipient. It was sent.

Thanks! I was confused because my mail app on my phone uses “outbox” as “you pressed send, but it hasn’t been delivered yet”

Pretty much the same thing. "
Outbox" means sent. "
Sent messages" means sent AND received.

One advantage of this system is that you can delete a message if the recipient has not yet read it. You know, like when you send one of those alcohol-fueled rants about trumpet players and such.

greenbean, you're making me miss the old
TromboneForum with all the vitriol-filled rants!
Of course we're all now much more relaxed and civilized on
TromboneChat -- aren't we?
