Hi all. I was hoping to inquire here for anyone that knows of any TA positions opening up for U.S public universities in the fall of 2022. Similarly, if someone could point me in the right direction on how to find these positions (assuming they exist), I would be immensely grateful. Thank you!

Some professors will publicly post about GA/TA/fellowship opportunities. Some schools will also list these opportunities directly on their website when they are set to be open. In many cases, however, you'll need to inquire directly with faculty to confirm.

It might be smart to send out an email to the trombone faculty at schools you're interested in, expressing your desire to apply and also asking about the kinds of financial aid/funding that are available for grad students.

U of North Texas will have two TF openings for DMA students in the Fall of '22. Western Michigan University will have a TA spot in '22 for a masters level student as well.
