I like the neotech grip. I tried an ax handle but the neotech seems to be unique among the grips and straps because it allows me to change the position of my fingers. I can do things like a closed fist, not touching the mouthpiece, or even an open hand with fingers straight up, not gripping the instrument at all.
I'm wondering if anyone has had a tech build a heavier duty or more permanent version of this type of grip, which completely surrounds the palm. Like made of leather or metal or a combination? Or something soldered on to the slide instead of clamped in place with screws? Nothing wrong with the plastic, or the design, but I thought it might be nice to have something with high quality materials.
heavy duty/high quality alternatives to neotech grip?

Re: heavy duty/high quality alternatives to neotech grip?
No help here, but I do also enjoy how I can leave my hand totally relaxed (usually as a kind of flat palm) when I play my 3B/F, which is what I use it on. Probably looks odd but really does help.
