Any comment about that? I think the water from the slide move to the bell.

Looks really compact. But I would be worried about my bell sitting on the slide. It may put stress on the slide.

Yes, I prefer the old soft case design. I don't like the bell sitting on the slide, although I'd re-evaluate that if the tray is solid fiberglass (or carbon fiber) that sits on the edges of the case interior.

As far as water dripping onto the bell from the slide goes, that can be managed with a couple of corks or a washrag.

What does Steve Ferguson have to say about it?

At least from the pictures it looks like there's enough space that the horn will literally not be sitting on the slide. Note the foam inserts are taller than the slide.

The thing I hate is how some of the tenor cases put the bell down instead of up with the backpack straps... Ugh...

If Horn guy's orders some flipped to bell up I'll take at least one! I like the slicker design on these guys. The old tenor soft case was not as good of a design as the bass soft case.

This is the "Soft" Case, the one i'd mentioned was hard(?) one.
