King 3B slide compatability

Alrighty so, I was at all-state a few months ago, and I managed to get a bell section from a King 3BF for free from a brass recycling booth on the last day. It's in rough shape but does function, and I'd like to find a slide for it.
On my search however, I have found no hand slides for a 3B besides ordering a new part from Conn-Selmer itself, which I cannot afford.
Are there any other slides that attach properly to the king 3B bell section besides an actual king 3B slide? I'd like to play on it even if I gotta use a slide from a 605 or 606 or something.

You can check with DJ Kennedy who might have a used slide for less money.

If you have a 606, try the slide -- it might fit. I think the 2B+ and 606 use the same tenon as the 3B.

I think I have a decent 3B slide. I will dig around.

After I can leave the house, I know a couple people who have old 606’s and I’ll try the slides from theirs on the bell.
What’s DJ’s preferred method of contact? I might do that some time today.

The 606 will work (albeit 500 vs 508 bore). As will a 1306 tempo (8"nickel bell). I have a 3BF that I sometimes use the 1306 bell with for some tonal variety and to shave a little weight off.

DJ seems to be more active on the Facebook page (TromboneForum/TromboneChat). He does have an account here but seems not to be here much.
