Aida trombone stand

Post by Thrawn22 »

I'm in search of Aida trombone stands. Hornguys doesn't have any in stock and probably won't till they can flll a minimum order. Are there any other U.S. retailers that have them? Are there any chatters that have one in good shape they want to sell?

Thanks

I got mine from Irv Karan? at Slidebone. Some folks have mixed feelings about him, but he has been decent to deal with from my transactions.

Just make sure Irv has it in stock before you order.

This is the real issue with dealing with Irv. If he has the item in stock there are no problems. If he doesn't have it and needs to order it, that seems to be when the problems start.

You might want to search this site for “Slidebone” before parting with your money.

I would bet that's not an actual Aida stand.

I have had one on order from Hornguys for almost a year now. They are waiting to make a minimum order before they get more in. That's why I'm searching.

How many more order do they need? Perhaps we could put together enough to get them moving... (I'ld be interested in one)

Try the WWD carbon fiber tenor trombone slide from Horn Guys. It's excellent and fits into your bell to pack in the case. I have both the tenor and bass trombone versions. They are excellent and not too much more than the Aida.
