Question for others and Doug as moderator:
I’ve an ST mouthpiece/components that I’ve had for a long time but haven’t been using.
Does a MT rim work on a ST cup?

You can screw it on.
There will be a jog in diameter where the rim meets the cup. The cup diameter is a little smaller than the rim.
This may or may not be an issue.
I put an MT 102 rim on a Giardinelli 5M cup and had a similar problem. I can use it as it is. Your mileage may vary.

There would be a small edge showing where the ST cup is slightly smaller than the MT rim interface. It should play pretty normally and if it doesn't bother you, just use it.

I did a similar thing with a LT/XT setup I had a few years ago. I hadn't bought the small shank equivalent in XT, so I borrowed a friend's small shank LT for a while, worked just fine. There's a lip, it's weird, but the difference once I got the real setup was noticeable, but fairly minimal.
