Hey guys,
So I just made a new wooden thumb lever for my Edwards bass out of dogwood, and it's all ready to go on, except for one thing, I can't get the black delrin on off. Does anyone know how to get the old thumb lever off?

It's probably press fit on.

You can try heating the Delrin to see if you can loosen it.

Or you can try sawing it parallel to the bar until you just loosen it.

Or if you have a good gear puller (for VERY small gears) you could pull it off.

I used a pair of pliers- I wrapped it in a couple layers of towel before as to not mar it too bad, and that did the trick.
