According to the Kanstul website.... "Copy of Mt. Vernon Bach 42, originally owned by Byron Peebles".
It's a good pipe!

It IS a good pipe, though I have heard that it was not actually Byron Peebles' MV 42 lead pipe, but another leadpipe, that Kanstul got from Noah Gladstone. As he had been a student of Peebles', they assumed it was from his MV 42.
Either way, it IS a very nice pipe. I use it in my Kanstul 1570, a very underrated horn. It's like a lighter version of a Bach 42, with an awesome valve. I don't use the MO or ML pipes that came with it.

It's a great pipe! For me felt between a Shires 1 and 1.5 but slots quite differently.
