Bump, let's keep this thread going!

Just woke up from a nap in my other gigmobile, 2000 Honda Accord 5-speed. Hasn't been washed in 4 years, big crack in the windshield, wheel liner scraping today... Love this thing. 37(!) mpg on long trips, comfy, and cost very little to buy. If something is more than 45 minutes away, this is what I drive.

Excited to order a new hybrid Ford Maverick soon, though.

I got a 2016 Chrysler Pacifica van last March. Not the sexiest thing round, but I can fold all the back seats into the floor and have a 4' x 8' space where my mountain bike lives full time. Great for the dog, horns, video equipment, and just about everything else I carry.

Kia Niro. Smaller crossover, but more capacity than my wife's Fit, which is also a nice car. I can fit a basic PA system and my horn du jour, including tuba. It's a hybrid, so I'm getting 55-65 mpg. Would recommend it without hesitation.

Having two new tyres and some other bits and pieces on my 2007 Audi A3 Sportback to get it through the TÜV (similar to MoT in UK). I asked them to get it all done this week as I have a gig to drive to about 2 hours away. Don‘t use it to drive to work, only for gigs, rehearsals, holidays, shopping for beer/water/wine and dog taxi.

It‘s got about 250k on the clock and the AC doesn’t do much above 28 DegC but I was do pleased when I heard it only needed a few hundred € of work for it to get authorisation to drive until 2024!

These days my bike is getting less use for gigs, it‘s too hot for that nonsense.

2015 Lexus CT200h- Original motor developed rod knock at 205k, swapped in a 12k motor from a 2020 Prius. This has been the best daily driver for work/commute.

1994 Toyota Supra. Single Turbo 2jz, with a 6 speed Tremec T56. Made just shy of 800hp at the last dyno.

Any reason you swapped in the Tremec? I was under the impression that the stock 6-speed was pretty good for power as well.

Any reason you swapped in the Tremec? I was under the impression that the stock 6-speed was pretty good for power as well.

The stock V160 is great, but limited and very expensive when it comes to repairs. The T56 is a huge market and just as strong. Couple images of the Supra I'm always messing with. I tend to be the exact same way with horns.
