Re: wooden mouthpiece
Look nice. Wish he offered more sizes (I'm more a 4G kinda guy).

Re: wooden mouthpiece
Yes a 6,5 AL S arrived me two days ago. It is comparable to a Bach 6.5 AL but with a smaller cup diameter and a slightly smaller throat. lacquer is so thick, that it feels like a plastic mouthpiece.it is pleasant on my lips. But i
must play it longer, that i can say more.

Thanks, please give a review after you have spent more time with it. Which wood did you choose?

Re: wooden mouthpiece
it is made of walnut.I have now played the mouthpiece extensively. The workmanship is first class The sound is a bit darker than with a comparable Bach. Due to the slightly narrower cup and the slightly smaller throat, less air is needed. The rounded edge gives good flexibility and feels very nicely on the lips.Bending is easy. Higher notes seems to be easier to play than on a Bach 6.5 al. Its not so loud than a metall mouthpiece, so i think its good for small ensemble work or playing together with a voice choir, churchmusic. I'm very satisfied.

Re: wooden mouthpiece
Sounds very much like my Benterfa mouthpiece. Mine is approximately 4G size. I call it my "Chamber" mouthpiece since it's much more mellow than a regular metal mouthpiece.
