Do DE Alto S shanks fit Buescher Trombones?
I've got two Buescher trombones. They each have their own mouthpieces, but they are quite small. The Rims and cups are small, but the problem is the shanks are extra small. My other mouthpieces don't drop in very far. I just started using an XTC with a C2 shank on my small bore horns. Really I''ve only used it on a Super so far, and I love it. I think this'd be a great mouthpiece for my Bueschers too.
Does anybody here play Bueschers?
What mouthpieces do you use?

If they are old enough they take an extra small (and short) shank. I have several mouthpieces of this sort that came with various antique trombones.
Doug Elliott makes a shank that should fit. Get in touch with him.
