Classifieds Question
Question.......when we sell an item in the classifieds, should we mark it as "sold" or go ahead and delete the topic? Thanks!

Re: Classifieds Question
Up to you!
The reasons we had in the TTF were largely because of the forum software limitations that we no longer have. The preferred method here for bringing something back to the top is to bump a previous post rather than deleting and reposing but if you wish to avoid clutter you could do that too.
For historical reasons, it's really cool to be able to back to something for sale and see it on TubeNet but I personally have no plans on voting to prevent deletion of ads and I'm pretty sure the other moderators agree.

Re: Classifieds Question
I would prefer if we could leave the items on the page and just marked as sold. With time this will give a great database on used intstruments prices.

Re: Classifieds Question
That’s a good point. I love that you can do that on eBay. Very useful for determining a price on something.cozzagiorgi wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 11:43 pm I would prefer if we could leave the items on the page and just marked as sold. Re: Classifieds Question
Yes, excellent point. It’s nice to see what certain models listed for to help with setting prices.cozzagiorgi wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 11:43 pm I would prefer if we could leave the items on the page and just marked as sold. With time this will give a great database on used intstruments prices.
