adjustable balancer
with the help of a Riedl Hinge Box, i made an adjustable balancer/counterweght.

Yes - - but that's an awfully long lever. I'd be worried to damage the horn.
Besides, I'd put it on the other leg of the crook in order to avoid additional torque of the bell to the left.

How does it feel when playing and handling? Any noticable effect on the sound?
The next development step could perhaps be something to clip on?

adjustable balancer
the handling is great for alto playing in the outside slide position. Cause the alto with the shorter part over
the shoulter is not well balanced and a counterweight inside the tuningslide, as like the Conn 34H doesn,t work well.
No noticabe effect on the sound.
