I was browsing through some of the major music distributors, looking for Patrick Williams' "All The Way" so I can have my own copy - for practice and maybe at some point to have some fun and throw together a public performance somewhere.
But I'm not finding this chart.
More generally, it seems like the pickings for finding legally published jazz orchestra/big band charts is shrinking, or I and Google just don't know where to look. Where are some good sources of charts that might be off the beaten path, besides these?

I did a Google search for "All the Way, big band sheet music, PDF" and got many sources. Most are vocal versions with a big band. Some cost and some are free.

For that tune, I'm looking specically for the trombone feature Patrick Williams arrangement used on the album Sinatraland. I know it exists; I know a local bandleader who has the chart (and not a pirated copy) - I think he might have gotten it directly from Patrick at some point. Which is kind of problematic now.Richard3rd wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 12:10 pm I did a Google search for "All the Way, big band sheet music, PDF" and got many sources. It looks like Patrick's website is still active, maybe?
https://www.patrickwilliamsmusic.com/scores-and-parts/
I'm not sure if I should trust that, given that Patrick died in 2018.

I have Patrick Williams's arrangement of "All the Way" from Sinatraland. It's unpublished.

Some of the charts written for the London Jazz Orchestra are available on our website.
https://londonjazzorchestra.com/store#scores-and-parts
We only play originals written by members of the band (so you won't find any of the classic big band repertoire), but it may fit the bill if you're looking for something different to play. Composers include Pete Saberton, Scott Stroman, Pete Hurt, Alcyona Mick, Tori Freestone, Henry Lowther, Noel Langley and many more.
What's on here is just a tiny fragment of our library, so if there's anything else you'd be interested in, drop us a line.
