DE for Bach 16M?

Post by Bach5G »

I have LT rims (playing 102 these days).

Best cup/shank for Bach 16M (.509)?

Probably D Cup / D3 Shank.
Doug could guide you.

C+, D3
Or maybe D, D3
Both work well.

Both are between a typical "C" cup and a 6-1/2AL depth
Depends on the kind of playing you do and the sound you want.

I’ve been using an LT102/C+/D3 on mine for a few years, which really gets it humming, but have shifted to a D+ setup of late for a little more sound in the staff. Anything in that spectrum should make you happy.

I need to add a chefs kiss emoji on the site because the C+ is definitely :chefskiss:
