Does anyone here have experience/advice for building up the corks on a trumpet straight?
I've seen that Tom Crown make a copy of the Non-Pariel mute that Tricky Sam used.

In previous posts here an on the old TF, people have said they used sheet cork of different thicknesses, the kind that has the prepared sticky-back surface. You can find them at hobby stores.
