Coprion questions
I just picked up two Conn 18H horns. One for playing and one for parts. Are Coprion bells lacquered, and is there a way to buff out scratches? I am thinking about buffing the parts bell for practice (it has a lot of dents) with a cotton buffing wheel or a white tee shirt. Other than the scratches and a few minor dings, the playing horn bell section is a beauty that I would hate to damage the finish.

Re: Coprion questions
Coprion is pure copper deposited electrolytically. It tarnishes as easily as brass. It is usually buffed and lacquered. Copper can be buffed exactly the same way as brass, but it's a bit softer and you have to be careful about dents and deformation.
