Is my Bach mp original?
Hello everyone, I wonder if the saw like ornament at the very end of the shank is a standard for all classic Bach mps?

If it's very small bumps, it could definitely be original.

It is rather smooth all around. No bumps at all.

I'm talking about this saw like ornament. Some of my bachs have little ridges at the end of the shank.

The one I suspect does not have any, others do (trumpet and trombone).

It's not standard, probably just part of how they make the mouthpieces that shows up sometimes. I have it only on a couple of my small shank pieces.

"Saw-like ornament"? At first I was thinking the end of the shank had teeth on it.
Are you talking about the end of the shank where it goes into the trombone, or where the shank meets the cup?
