My teacher is currently putting together a very unique project horn. Something I don't think I have ever seen before. Features a narrow Rath slide with gold brass tubes, an original OE Thayer valve, a Rath gold brass tuning slide, and a Corp Bach 42 bell.
Thought it might interest some folks here.

Narrow slide with a Thayer is an interesting choice

I would think that combining a Thayer valve with a narrow slide would not work well for most of us.
