Web site map with mile markers?

Post by whitbey »

I want to do some pre searching to find the hotels I like for an up coming trip to Florida. I want to get the mile markers. That would make it easier to look at a list sorted by mile marker. You could tell how far and how long without doing several dozen searches.

So I am looking for a Web site map with mile markers. Some states have PDF maps with mile markers, but you cannot search the map for a location.

Anyone know of a web map that has the mile markers at the exits?

I have map program on my android phone called Offline Maps. It has the exit numbers and the road names are on the roads just like maps used to be. I just don't want to search every Hampton Inn from Michigan to Florida typing addresses. This Offline Maps program is great for really looking at maps. Like when the freeway is closed for an accident. You get off at the next exit. Stop and look at the map and look for the best way back roads to go around.

Another program I have is OnX hunt. It shows property lines for Hunters. I am a real estate broker. It is nice to show someone the property lines of a home or building they are looking at.

I cannot get Offline Maps to work on me laptop. I think it is just too old.
