Hi all,
I've just purchased a used Kanstul 1585T, and I was wondering if any other manufacturers' leadpipes had the same threading? I could have sworn I saw someone else talking about this in another thread, but I can't find said thread for the life of me. Any input would be great! TIA.

Horn Guys say that Kanstul and Shires are compatible, although that compatibility only goes one way. If you have a Kanstul, you should be able to use Shires pipes. Getzen and Conn are also in the compatibility chart.

Conn and Getzen are different thread pitch. They might thread in part way, but they don't really fit.hyperbolica wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 11:49 am Horn Guys say that Kanstul and Shires are compatible, although that compatibility only goes one way. I've used shires threads in my conn with no issues.
