New slide for Selmer Bolero

Post by micka57330 »

Hi, I have a Selmer Bolero but the handslide is on the end of it's life. Inner slide plating is foggy and action not very smooth anymore.

What option do I have?

Thank you

Does king have a 508 outer with yellow brass? That might also be a good option

Bach does. Well maybe. I am seeing 16’s on the site but not 16m. Can the tech deal with getting a 0.509 to fit. They might have to order two upper inner and outer slide tubes.

When is the last time you had the slide professionally serviced? As long as the chrome plating isn't worn through, it shouldn't be causing major issues.

I have it serviced by a tech and said it can't be better.

Smooth when I apply lub or water but dry fast.
