Folks,
I've used Yamaha rotor spindle oil for years (I tried Hetmans for a while and it gunked up). Yamaha has changed the packaging and also the wording. My old bottles don't have the word synthetic, but the new ones do. Has there been a formulation change or has it always been a synthetic blend?

Re: Yamaha rotor spindle oil
I can’t comment about the Yamaha rotor spindle oil, but in a similar thread a couple of weeks ago I wrote about avoiding Hetmans because of the buildup also. The only thing I do use Hetmans on are the miniball linkages. But for the bearing surfaces, I bought the superslick oil with the needle oiler - it explicitly says it is petroleum distillate based.
