King to Conn slide conversion
As a practical matter, can a 3B slide be converted to work on a 78h bell? Where would you source the 78h (or equivalent) tenon? Does the tenon need to be modified to fit the slide? Any tech here willing to take on a job like this (plus a little slide work)?

Re: King to Conn slide conversion
I think that the main problem would be that the Conn has the locking ring on the bell section and the King has it on the slide section so that could cause some head scratching.
